Canon: Samurai Warriors/Warriors Orochi/Elements of History
Name: Ranmaru Mori
Age: 19 (canon) or 17 (if wanting to stay closer to history)
Gender: Male

General Personality: Ranmaru's personality varies based on the situation he is in, and the people he is around, but in general he is the sort of person who wishes to be taken seriously and can be rather awkward around those he does not know. He balances this out when in battle, with a steadfast resolve to protect his Lord (or in the case of Warriors Orochi, Sun Ce whom he follows because he is curious about the man) and to serve those he respects to the best of his abilities; having been known, and from time to time scaring other pages, due to his ability to know the needs of others before they say anything.

Ranmaru has also been shown to have a darker side, generally reserved for during battles and with those he is attracted to. He is shown to take an almost dark pleasure in taking down enemy soldiers on Nobunaga's request and never questions what the man does. Although shown being a bit awkward to touch in the first game, it seems related to the fact he is being almost disregarded by two people he trusts deeply when trying to express something important. Otherwise, his personality and hints dropped while he is with individual people he trusts is that there is a little impish side to him.

Notes: Canon often tosses him in the Women's Battles, and he finds himself entirely unable to get out of them for varying reasons. He is extremely awkward being involved in them, though, but considering the women comment about his beauty, mistaking him for a girl is a possibility - until you get to his voice; it is youthful, but male (based on his Japanese voice which is steady compared to varied English ones).

Ranmaru generally begins out as a weak character, whose man advantage is a mixture of speed and the length of his weapon - a Nodachi - but as he levels he becomes a powerhouse.

Historically, Ranmaru did seem to have some tactical prowess and could operate to some extent as a strategist. He was known to at least have warned Nobunaga about Mitsuhide Akechi. I like to incorporate this if possible, since information about him in game can sometimes be minute and strategist tends to go to Hanbei Tanaka, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Mitsunari Ishida and Kanbei Kuroda.

History: (This will be built upon as I continue to play the games, and likely include pieces of history since Ranmaru only gets one real story mode across the games that I've found; and working for the Saito is seemingly only game 1. Also, this section has been separated into battles and notes)

- Ranmaru has been a page to Lord Nobunaga since he was very young, and has been trained by him and is used to his moods and oddities

- BATTLE OF HONNOJI: I tend to play Ranmaru as having survived Honnoji, despite the fact that historically he does not. Nobunaga does not survive Honnoji, and Ranmaru seeks out to take the head of his murderer, Mitsuhide Akechi

Permissions:

Hugging this character: Go ahead, but expect a lot of awkwardness and confusion
Kissing this character: You can try, but he may not be happy with it and is actually more likely to pull back immediately unless he knows you
Flirting with this character: Go ahead. He may be rather cold about it, or flustered. It all just depends on the situation.
Fighting with this character:. Most certainly.
Injuring this character: It should be fine. If I'm not happy with it, I'll say so
Killing this character: Unless we have discussed it, no. Character death is one of the few things which bother me
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: I'm fine with it
